The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a limited-edition supercar powered by the most powerful engine Ferrari’s ever put in a road car. The engine is the same as 6.5 litre V12 as found in the 812 Superfast but it has been further enhanced and can produce 828 hp. This is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission which allows the SP3 to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 mph. The name SP3 pays homage to the 1967 24hr Daytona race in which Ferrari famously took the top three places.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a stunning car that is sure to turn heads. Sitting low and wide, the aerodynamic styling references many great models before it, the 512 front wings, the racer-style exterior mirrors, and the rear end looks very similar to the 1968 Ferrari 250 P5 concept car. Of course, there is much more carbon fiber on this model as you would expect including the carbon roof hardtop. The Daytona SP3 is also equipped with a number of advanced aerodynamic features that help to improve its handling and performance.
Inside the seats are integrated into the chassis and once you are strapped into the harness seat belts you notice the minimalist yet high-tech functional cockpit and dashboard. The design of which has been purposeful to give the driver all the options needed to feel like they are driving an exclusive top of the range iconic supercar without distracting them from the road ahead or from the thrilling driving experience.
The carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel in the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is an advanced version of the one found in the Roma. It features multiple touch-sensitive buttons for controlling the car's performance, as well as the traditional Manettino dial for selecting driving modes. The steering wheel also has a gear-shifting light strip at the top that indicates to the driver when to shift gears for optimal performance.
