Lamborghini Sián: A Lightning Strike - The Hybrid Hypercar
The Lamborghini Sián was the first supercar powered by a V12 engine and hybrid technology and was Lamborghini's most powerful road car ever at the time of its launch thanks to the new addition of titanium intake valves, updated ECU and an all-new exhaust system.
Living up to its name, which translates to "flash of lightning" from the Bolognese dialect, the Sián boasts a monstrous 785 horsepower which enables the Sián to accelerate 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 217 mph.

Production ran from 2020 to 2022, and in that time 63 coupes and 19 roadsters were produced, all of which were sold the minute they went on sale in 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
These production numbers - 63 coupes and 19 roadsters - weren’t random. They symbolised the company’s 1963 founding and represented a curated homage to Lamborghini’s legacy.
And unlike some ultra-low-production hypercars built for collection only, every Sián was fully homologated for road use, making it a street-legal technological showpiece.
The interior of the Sián is almost identical to the Aventador SVJ with most surfaces covered in rich leather and carbon fiber. One notable difference is the re-organised centre console on which the screen is flipped to a portrait orientation like that on the Huracan Evo.
The 7-speed automatic transmission again is nearly identical to the Aventador SVJ but sits with a small electric motor powered by a supercapacitor (SC) battery system.
The iconic Y-shape headlights make the head-turning Sián unmissable along with its six hexagonal brake lights on the back end. Also sitting at the rear is the adjustable rear spoiler which helps to improve aerodynamic efficiency.
