The Maserati Grecale: An Italian Style High-Performance SUV
The Maserati Grecale began production in 2022 with three fuel-powered engine options and trims - GT, Modena and Trofeo - with the launch of an all-electric powertrain arriving in 2024 named the Grecale Folgore.
The Grecale GT has a 48-volt hybrid system combined with a turbocharged 2.0 litre inline-four engine whereas the Grecale Modena Limited Edition trim has a higher output version of this powertrain upping horsepower to 325 hp compared to the 296 hp in the GT.

Horsepower is further increased in the Grecale Trofeo with its turbocharged 3.0 litre V6 engine outputting a hefty 523 hp. No matter which engine is equipped in the Grecale, performance is handled with the eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
The GT and Modena can both achieve a top speed of 149 mph, but the 0-60 mph sprint times vary with the GT taking 5.6 seconds and the Modena slightly quicker at 5.3 seconds. The Trofeo performance figures are a lot more impressive with a top speed of 177 mph and an acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, putting this up against the Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.
The interior on all versions of the Grecale comes fitted with four screens as standard. There is a new 12.3” panel which sits alongside the classic cluster, a smaller 8.8” comfort panel with additional controls and a new digital clock all of which give the interior a high-tech feel.
A touch of luxury is added to the Trofeo interior via additional high-quality materials including carbon fiber, leather and electrically adjustable seats with memory function.
The Grecale Trofeo stands out further than the GT and Modena with its quad exhaust on the rear end, and 21 inch alloy wheels that cover cross-drilled brake discs with red painted calipers as standard.
